Scratching on the Roland DJ-505 is made easy thanks to the large, low-latency jog wheels – they feel as natural as vinyl. The DJ-505’s dedicated Serato DJ controls allow for triggering Hot Cues, loops, TR sounds, sequencer patterns, and samples. Additionally, the Deck Select button enables fast and easy switching between the four decks of the DJ-505. Three FX selection buttons on each deck provide access to channel filters or Serato FX.

With Roland’s Analog Circuit Behavior technology, Roland carefully modeled the legendary TR-series drum machines and packed them into the DJ-505 controller. These iconic drums sound not only better than samples as they are generated virtually analog, but they can also be quickly and easily integrated into the performance, thanks to the 16-Step Sequencer.
